Pick-up (Free & Sustainable)
To save on shipping costs and reduce our ecological footprint, it is possible to pick up your order from us free of charge. This is our preferred method!
Location: De Keramiekerij. Address: Zuiderpad 81, 1461BS Zuidoostbeemster in the Netherlands. Pick-up times will be displayed during the checkout process. We will ensure your order is lovingly packaged and ready for you.
Shipping Rates & Methods
If picking up your order is not an option, we ship your items with the greatest care. All our shipments include a Track & Trace code so you can follow your package’s journey.

The Netherlands: Flat rate of €6,95 per order (Track & Trace).

Belgium: Flat rate of €14,75 per order (Insured + Track & Trace)
Packaging: Every unique piece is carefully wrapped and highly protected to prevent any damage during transit. We guarantee the quality and safety of our packaging.
Delivery Times: Expectations & Reality
A. Standard Products (Available from the Drop) Orders for items currently in stock (from our latest drop) will be shipped within a maximum of 5 business days after receiving payment. You will receive your Track & Trace code via email as soon as the package is handed over to the carrier.
B. Custom Requests (Personalized Orders) For personalized orders or customized products, a longer lead time applies. This is due to the intensive creation process (including drying, firing, glazing, and finishing). An estimated delivery date will be discussed individually with the buyer once the order is placed.
Returns and Right of Withdrawal
We naturally hope that you are completely happy with your purchase. Should you wish to return an item for whatever reason, we apply the following rules.
Returning Standard Products (Right of Withdrawal)
You have the legal right to return standard products within 14 days of receipt without providing a reason (right of withdrawal).

Return costs: The costs for the return shipment are at your own expense. You can also return the product in person to De Keramiekerij in Zuidoostbeemster free of charge (by appointment).

Refund: We will refund the purchase price (including any standard shipping costs) to you within 14 days after we have received the return notification, provided the product has been received in undamaged, good condition.
Exception to the Right of Withdrawal
Personalized products or products that have been customized specifically for you at your request (customized), are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be exchanged or returned.
Damage Upon Arrival
We package our unique items with the greatest possible care, but should your product unexpectedly arrive damaged, please take immediate action:

Contact us within 48 hours of receipt via info@keramiekerij.nl.

Immediately send clear photos of both the packaging and the damaged product.

After receiving and assessing the damage, we offer you the choice: a new, comparable product from our collection (if possible), or a full refund of your purchase price.

Article 2 – Applicability

These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer made by Keramiekerij and to every distance agreement concluded between Keramiekerij and the consumer.

Before the agreement is concluded, the text of these General Terms and Conditions will be made available to the consumer via the webshop.
Article 3 – The Offer and the Agreement (Uniqueness)

The offer of Keramiekerij is without obligation. All products are handmade and unique.

The images shown are a true representation of the products offered.

However, colors, shapes, and dimensions may deviate slightly, as each product is handmade and unique. This does not constitute grounds for dissolution of the agreement or compensation.

The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and meets the established conditions.
Article 4 – Prices and Payment

The stated prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs.

The stated shipping costs are clearly communicated before the purchase. Pickup in Zuidoostbeemster (by consultation) is free of charge.

Payments must be made immediately upon ordering via the payment methods offered by the webshop (Mollie).
Article 5 – Delivery and Execution

Keramiekerij will take the greatest possible care when receiving and executing orders for products.
-
Delivery of standard products takes place within a maximum of 5 business days after the order date.
-
The delivery time for products on request (customized work) is agreed upon individually with the consumer.
-
The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with Keramiekerij until the moment of delivery to the consumer or the moment of pickup.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

The consumer can dissolve an agreement regarding the purchase of a standard product during a cooling-off period of 14 days without giving reasons. This period starts on the day after the consumer has received the product.

During the cooling-off period, the consumer will handle the product and the packaging with care.

If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, the costs of the return shipment are at the consumer's expense. The consumer has the option to return the product in person to Keramiekerij in Zuidoostbeemster free of charge (by appointment).

Keramiekerij will refund the purchase amount (including any standard shipping costs paid) as soon as possible, but at the latest within 14 days after the dissolution and receipt of the product.

Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal: Products manufactured according to the consumer's specifications (customized work, custom colors, or personalized products) are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned.
Article 7 – Damage and Warranty

Upon arrival of a damaged product, the consumer must contact Keramiekerij within 48 hours via info@keramiekerij.nl and send clear photos of the packaging and the damage.

In the event of damage, Keramiekerij offers the consumer a choice between a comparable product from the current collection (if available) or a full refund of the purchase price.

The legal warranty applies. This means that a product must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. Since these are handmade products, the warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improper use (e.g., dropping or bumping the item).
Article 8 – Complaints Procedure

Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted to Keramiekerij within a reasonable time, fully and clearly described, after the consumer has observed the defects.

Complaints submitted to Keramiekerij will be answered within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeably longer processing time, a response will be sent within the 14-day period with an indication of when the consumer can expect a more detailed answer.
